An appointment booking app for hairdressers and barbers, built by me and in use in the Netherlands. The same idea works for a garage, workshop or advisory firm in Switzerland.

The problem
Many booking platforms charge a commission on every appointment. For a small salon that eats a noticeable part of the revenue, and the customer data sits with the platform.
What I built
The solution
A booking platform of its own: customers book online, and the salon manages appointments, customers and subscriptions in a clear dashboard, for a fixed monthly price.

The build
How the build went.
I built KnipVrij myself, from the first calculation to the dashboard for the salon. One contact for everything. The build had four steps, and I take exactly the same four steps with you.

Do the maths
What does a commission on every appointment cost a small salon over a year? And who owns the customer data? It all started with those two questions.

A fixed monthly price instead of a commission per appointment. The customer data stays with the salon. Appointments can be booked around the clock, without a phone call.
